QLeisure is proud to unveil the Kartmaster Junior Cup — a brand-new junior karting championship designed exclusively for drivers aged 14 to 16, set on our iconic 800-metre outdoor track in the heart of the South Downs National Park.
A Championship Built for the Next Generation
This isn’t a casual lap around the track. The Kartmaster Junior Cup is a serious, structured competition where young drivers get to prove their skills, chase lap records, and battle it out for championship glory — all in a safe, professionally managed environment.
Six rounds. Eighteen races. One champion.
With NKA membership, full insurance, and annual safety checks underpinning everything we do, parents can feel confident while their young racers push for the podium.
How It Works
The Kartmaster Junior Cup runs across 6 rounds, with each round featuring 3 x 12-minute races — giving every driver a total of 18 races to accumulate championship points.
But here’s what makes this championship genuinely different:
- 🏎️ Different kart, different grid position every race — you’ll start one race from the front, one from the middle, and one from the back of the grid
- 🔄 No two races are the same — this format is designed to level the playing field and reward true racecraft, not just luck of the draw
- 🗑️ 6 drop races per driver — bad day? No problem. Your worst results can be dropped from your championship total
- ⚡ Bonus points for fastest laps — push the limits and get rewarded for it
- 📋 Championship standings tracked across all rounds
- 🏆 Prizes and recognition for top performers

Why Brighton Karting?
We’ve been running karting experiences since 1993, and our 800-metre track is one of the longest and most exciting outdoor circuits in the South East — just 20 minutes from Brighton and 50 minutes from London. This championship is built on that heritage, with a format designed to bring out the best in every young driver on the grid.
Who Can Enter?
The Kartmaster Junior Cup is open to drivers aged 14–16. All drivers must be ‘race-approved’.
